The Festival was attended by nearly 5,000 people from the Asian American communities. The attendees enjoyed a day filled with entertainment, celebrity interactions, dining and shopping. The Festival is a truly Lifestyle event because it touched every aspect of Asian family life in the US.
The Festival was sponsored by some very large corporations like Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, AARP, Princeton Healthcare System, Wells Fargo, AREAA, New York Life, Mass Mutual, National MI, Cathay Bank and New Millennium Bank. The sponsors had productive interactions with the attendees to create awareness of their products and services.
The attendees enjoyed a day filled with a variety of shopping options. Vendors setup their booths and displayed their wares that comprised of exquisite jewelry, ethnic clothing, intricate handicrafts and elegant art. The Festival is a perfect occasion for the attendees to add to their collection of clothing, jewelry and art.
600 students from several performing and dance academies around the area performed on stage at the Festival. They put together a dazzling array of performances that enraptured the audience. Their beautifully choreographed performances were accompanied by colorful and stunning costumes that lit up the stage.
Taapsee Pannu enthralled the audience with her elegance, simplicity and charm. Ms. Pannu is one of Bollywood’s rising stars and is one of India’s leading women empowerment icons. She spoke about her experiences as a woman trying to make her mark in highly competitive world of Bollywood. Her fans were thrilled at the opportunity to take pictures with her in the beautifully decorated celebrity booth.
Our food partner, Maharaja Express put up an amazing array of food choices for the attendees. They were treated to mouth watering delicacies in a beautifully arranged setup. The Maharaja Express team, led by by Chef Praveen did an amazing job of providing everyone with an wide array of options and professional service.
The Festival got extensive attention and coverage before and after the event. Several ethnic and mainstream media outlets wrote about the Festival and provided post event coverage. The Festival was widely promoted on several ethnic TV, radio and print media outlets. The Festival team leveraged social media to its fullest to promote the event and its sponsors to create a lot of awareness and excitement.
No Lifestyle event is complete without a lot of Kids activities. There were a wide range of rides setup for the children and this kept them busy while their parents explored everything that the Festival had to option. A large number of the performers at the cultural program were children and they impressed everyone with their performances.
